Best Practices: Identify Leads Daily
Start every morning with Cloverleaf Signals - AI-generated alerts that surface the most relevant government meeting activity from the past 24 hours, matched to your Campaigns.
Step 1: Review Your Signals Email
Each morning, Cloverleaf delivers a Signals email to your inbox. This email surfaces meetings and documents from the previous 24 hours that matched your Campaign keywords and geographic filters - so your leads come to you instead of requiring you to go looking.
When your email arrives:
- Scan the meetings and documents listed - each one matched at least one of your tracked keywords
- Look for mentions of budget approvals, funding discussions, vendor references, or procurement language
- Click any meeting title to open it directly in Cloverleaf for a deeper look

Step 2: Review the Meeting
Once you're in a meeting or document, you'll see transcript snippets highlighting exactly where your keywords appeared. Click any timestamp above a snippet to jump directly to that moment in the video.
From here you can quickly assess:
- How significant the mention was
- Who was speaking and in what context
- Whether the discussion signals an early buying opportunity

Step 3: Run a Meeting or Channel Insight
If a meeting looks promising, go deeper with a Personal Insight. This is an AI-generated briefing tailored to your goals, competitors, and preferred format - giving you a summary of what happened and what it means for you specifically.
- Select Personal Insight or Channel Insight from the Insights section of the meeting page
- Personal Insight - Analyzes this meeting
- Channel Insight - Analyzes any meeting in the channel's history
- Choose the type of briefing you want to run
- Confirm to generate

Your briefing will appear in the Insights tab and can be copied and shared with teammates, leadership, or anyone else on a paid Cloverleaf account.
Step 4: Check the Opportunities Tab
The Opportunities tab on any meeting page shows all AI-identified leads from that meeting in one place. Each opportunity includes:
- A brief description of the lead
- An actionability score based on the strength of the signal
- The target stakeholder you should be engaging
Use this tab to quickly decide whether a meeting is worth pursuing and who to reach out to first.

Step 5: Find Your Stakeholder's Contact Information
Once you've identified an opportunity, find the right person to contact. Navigate to the Channel Detail Page for that government body to access verified speaker profiles and links to the agency's contact page - updated monthly with elected officials and top leadership.

Step 6: Share or Bookmark Your Leads
Share Click the share icon on any relevant transcript snippet to generate a Cloverleaf link you can send to anyone. Recipients without an account will be prompted to create a free one to view the meeting.

Bookmark Save your best leads for later or organize them for your team:
- Click the star icon next to the most relevant transcript snippet
- (Optional) Add notes in the Notes section
- (Optional) Tag a team member so they're notified about this bookmark
- Add the meeting to an existing folder or create a new one with + Create New Folder
