Bookmarks: Organize, Share, and Take Action on Key Moments

A Bookmark is a saved clip from a government meeting in Cloverleaf. These clips can include your notes, be organized into folders, and shared with others. Bookmarks are accessible anytime from the Bookmark tab on the left side of the page.

Creating a Bookmark

  • Navigate to a meeting page and click the Bookmark icon (image-png-Aug-14-2025-09-36-32-0197-PM) on any keyword tile.

  • A popup window will appear. Here, you can:
    • Add notes to describe why the clip is relevant
    • Tag teammates to share the clip with them directly
    • Choose to save the clip to an existing folder or click Create New Bookmark to start a new folder

  • Click Save. Tagged users will receive an email notification with your notes and a direct link to the clip.

Organizing Your Bookmarks

We recommend organizing your bookmarks based on your sales goals, region, or focus areas. For example:

  • Create separate folders for each state or region you’re responsible for
  • Group clips by topic (e.g., broadband, cybersecurity, infrastructure)
  • Add notes for reminders or next steps

When saving a clip, you can choose to make the folder Public (visible to your entire organization) or Private (only visible to you). Use the toggle at the top of the folder to change the visibility.

You can add Notes to each moment to remember where you left off or next steps for your team.

To download your saved clips, click Export Bookmarks on the top right of the Bookmarks page. This creates a CSV file with your notes and links.

Sharing Bookmarks with Teammates

When creating or editing a bookmark:

  • Use the “Tagged Users” dropdown to select one or more teammates in your organization.

  • Those users will immediately receive an email that includes:
    • Who shared the clip
    • Your notes
    • A “View The Clip” button to access the moment instantly

You can always see who you’ve tagged in a clip by opening the Bookmarks folder and looking at the far-right column next to each clip.

Bookmark Page Overview

On the Bookmark page (found via the left toolbar), you’ll see:

  • A list of all your folders
  • The clips inside each folder
  • Notes, tagged users, and share/export actions for each clip
  • A Public Folder tab at the top to browse bookmarks created by others in your organization

You can’t edit someone else’s clips, but you can view, share, or export them.
