Understanding what the Channel Directory is, where to find it, and how to use it
What is the Channel Directory?
The Channel Directory is a complete list of all of the communities covered on our platform currently.
You can find the Channel Directory by clicking on the Channels icon from the toolbar on left hand side of any page.
How to use the Channel Directory:
This page allows you to search for a specific channel using the search bar at the top of the page, or you can use the filters to refine your search by State, County, or Channel Type
Viewing a Channel Page:
Once you have found a channel you would like more information on, click on the channel name link from the left side of the channel directory page.
For this example, we are jumping into the Chicago City Council channel page
From this page you are able to access channel information, use external links from the right hand side to go directly to their government home page or contact pages.
You also can see all the historical videos we have transcribed for this channel under "meeting archive"
Searching this channel:
On the channel info page in the top right corner there is a "search this channel" button.
Using this button takes you back to the home screen where you can start a new campaign search and already have the channel you want to focus on pre-populated in the channel filter.
